Ms. Evelyn Frierson was a remarkable woman and a blessing to UNITY. She played many roles in the organization, but most importantly, she was a friend to all. Ms. E fought cancer bravely for years and finally completed her journey. We mourn her loss, but we also celebrate her remarkable life and her lasting legacy. She touched the lives of many people with her kindness and generosity.
Ms. Evelyn asked that instead of sending flowers, people would donate to the Unity Performing Arts Foundation to support the cause she loved. She dedicated her life to helping others and making a difference.
To honor Ms. Evelyn, we invite you to attend a Celebration of Life Memorial Service on Saturday, October 28, from 12 PM to 3 PM, at Purdue University Walb-Student Union Building, 2101 E. Coliseum Blvd. Let us pay tribute to our mentor and friend.
