Darren Harrison Biography

Darren Harrison has spent his entire career involved in the arts, advertising, media, performance and youth development. He’s a 40 year veteran, award winning TV & Film director, producer, writer, videographer, and editor. He is also an accomplished actor, singer, dancer, musician, songwriter with over 100 stage shows to his credit. He has been involved in youth development since 1978 as a counselor, teacher and keynote speaker. It started with his 3 children who now all work in the entertainment industry and continued with his lifelong involvement for Red Cross, Junior Achievement, Youth Theater and Youth Sports Programs.

Having known Marshall White since 1991, and having witnessed the meteoric rise of Unity Performing Arts Foundation, Darren felt compelled to dedicate his expertise in the arts and his love of youth development to UNITY’s mission and is doing so as the Artistic Program and Training Coordinator.

UNITY creates artistic and leadership programs that empower students to be greater than they can imagine. The impact of the training impacts every part of their lives. He is honored and proud to be part of that journey for our youth.
