Did you hear that Indiana is taking part in Girls Go CyberStart, a new and innovative free education program to encourage high school girls in the US to learn cybersecurity skills?

  • Consider registering for the program, and here’s why: • Girls Go CyberStart is entirely free and will provide your teachers with hours of educational resources that can be used within the classroom or as an extra-curricular activity.
  • The program exists to empower girls to enter this exciting profession. Our country faces a serious shortage of computer science and cyber-trained workers and only by supporting these types of schemes can we solve this.
  • During the program, girls not only learn valuable skills but will compete as part of a club and, if your school does well, they could win up to $1,000!

•Indiana is brimming with talent and we want to make sure the rest of the country knows it. By taking part in the program, you will help Indiana climb the Girls Go CyberStart league boards and show everyone just how talented the students are. Registration for the program is open now, and the games begin on March 20. Follow the below link to register your details, and you’ll be contacted again when the program opens.

Please share this message so that we can get as many schools and girls involved in this truly fantastic opportunity.

Ivy Tech truly believes this program will help Indiana become one of the leaders in cybersecurity in the near future.

Sincerely, Ivy Tech Community College
