UNITY Strategic Planning Leadership Retreat

On Saturday, March 18th, Unity Performing Arts Foundation held our 2017 Strategic Planning Leadership Retreat. 82 individuals gathered in the conference rooms of Sweetwater for the sole purpose of discussing how to propel Unity Performing Arts Foundation to the next level! We listened to great speakers who inspired and motivated us, we shared ideas on how we can grow our organization and enjoyed a great lunch courtesy of Zianos Italian Eatery! Here are a few testimonials from the retreat: My name is Celestine Johnson, I am the proud mother of Christianna Singleton and a proud parent/member of ‘UNITY’. It is truly a privilege and an honor to be a part of such an Amazing Organization. I had the opportunity to attend the 2017 Strategic Planning Leadership Retreat, and I must say what a treat it was. It was very well organized and full of great topics to glean information from. I left there knowing more about ‘UNITY’. It really touched my heart and opened eyes to some realistic things; I also left with a greater desire to become more involved in the organization. Veronica Townes wrote: I attended the Voices of Unity Leadership Retreat at Sweetwater Saturday and I was absolutely blown away!! The flow of the day was so motivating! Every presenter had something priceless to share about so many different things. We were intentional, we were on one accord and everyone was extremely proud to pass the baton of purpose, vision and self-improvement. That Retreat gave me a new way to look at the VOU Brand. It gave me insight although it was out-a-sight!! We had a great time! We enjoyed delicious food, impactful conversation and catching up with one another. I have to be honest… I was a tad hesitant to give up my Saturday. But I am so thankful and happy I did!! When is the next one? Sign me up!
