2018 End of Season Summer Spectacular: A Tribute to Disney | June 23, 2018

WOW, What a Summer Spectacular!!

It was so fun and exciting preparing for the Tribute To Disney Concert.  The music was full of powerful messages that young people from all backgrounds could relate too.  Everyone knows that the magic of Disney is very special and has the power to lift anyone’s head. That is just what happened when the singers dressed up in the costumes of the characters, and the auditorium from the parking lot to the stage was decorated with the Disney magic.

I was so touched by the number of people who volunteered to participate in this summer production.  UNITY’s brand is to attract everyone from all walks of life to participate in Fort Wayne’s newest non-traditional artistic platform for youth and adults.  Our goal is to fill an artistic void that has been empty for years. Now, there is an artistic platform that minorities and non-minorities can come together and work together.  That’s Inspiring!

Once again, when we take the time to give our youth our attention and support, it makes them feel we CARE.  Youth don’t care how much you know, but they need to know how much you care. Our society is growing every day with young people who don’t feel significant.  Your attendance at these concerts and your applause and excitement gives the students the approval that they worked so hard to achieve. They want to know we are proud of and pleased with them.
