Conversation and Master Class with Myron McKinley | June 19, 2018

We had an amazing night on Tuesday, June 19, with our special guest band director for our Tribute to Disney Concert, Myron McKinley. Myron McKinley, a pianist, producer, songwriter, programmer, and film score composer for large box office films and television shows. McKinley has toured with Grammy award winner Whitney Houston (World Tour), Kenny Lattimore (For You, World Tour), Stanley Clarke, En Vogue (World Tour), and, since 2000, currently serves as the Musical Director for Grammy Award Winners and pop music giants Earth, Wind and Fire. Thank you, Myron, for sharing your gifts with us! Unity Performing Arts Foundation, (UNITY) is pleased to launch its new student exposure initiative entitled, The Professional Music Guest Series. It has been the long-term vision of UNITY to connect young people in our communities with positive, skilled and influential professionals that will increase aspiration, hope and a sense of significance and importance into the lives of our youth. We are so excited to announce that our first music industry guest will come and join our summer production and lead our band to provide guidance and inspiration throughout his interaction with the UNITY family.
