2019 UNITY Student and Alumni Accomplishments

Jordan Bridges (UNITY Alumnus, 2008-2017) made the Dean’s list this past semester at Purdue University. He is also a featured Keynote Student Speaker at The Respect Team’s M.aking A. D.ifference Leadership Event on Saturday, February 23rd.

Deojanique Gray (UNITY Alumna, 2016-2018) earned her drivers license. Congratulations DJ!

Tyela Tshimanga (Alumna, 2000-2004) gave birth to a daughter Taleiyah Love Tshimanga on January 11, 2019.

Matthew Griffin (UNITY Alumnus, 2001-2005) played the character Ronald Clifford in the Cruel Intentions Broadway Musical and the soundtrack will be available on March 8. Check out his songs in the album in iTunes! You can also find the song “Breakfast At Tiffany’s” on Spotify.

Deven Bridges (UNITY Alumnus, 2009) is running a pre-order on copies of his first official single, “Memories”, on vinyl. This will be a 7 inch vinyl with a secret unreleased song on the B-side. He also released the music video, mixed by Evan White (UNITY Alumnus, 2000-2008) on YouTube.

Gregory Perry (UNITY Student, 2013-present) competed with his Future City Team for the Indiana regional competition and won! His team of 6 will move on to Nationals in Washington, D.C. from February 16-19.

Maureen Bobilya (UNITY Board Member, 2018-present), made the Executive Council with New York Life Insurance. She has been a case rate leader for two years!

Amy Alfaro (UNITY Parent, 2016-present) spoke at 1 Million Cups Fort Wayne about her nonprofit, Paul’s Place: Support For Families, Inc., an organization that helps families stay comfortable if they are having to travel for any type of medical care in Fort Wayne.

Melanie Hollingsworth (UNITY Student, 2015-present) is in a play at Concordia Lutheran High School at 7PM on Saturday, February 9 as they debut never-before-seen plays that didn’t exist 24 hours earlier. The students will gather on Friday, February 8 to begin the work on writing, directing, and acting out their original plays. Three-Four plays will be given on Saturday night. The event (24-Hour Theater Festival Showcase) is open to the public – tickets are $2 each or free with a canned good for admission.

Cydney Bridges (UNITY Student, 2008-present) is on the Leadership Panel at the Respect Team’s M.aking A. D.ifference Leadership Event. Cydney Bridges is an honor roll senior at Carroll High School with future aspirations to become a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. Cydney currently holds the title of USA National Miss Northeast Teen 2018 for Indiana and Miss Indianapolis Black Expo Queen 2018.

Kendall Isadore (UNITY Alumna, 2003-2006) was featured in the music video for a present-day rendition of the Black National Anthem “Lift Ev’ry Voice and Sing” featuring Aloe Blacc with special guests, The String Queens – a collaborative arrangement imagined and produced by ESPN and ESPN’s The Undefeated in celebration of Black History Month! 

Sandra Logan (UNITY Parent, 2016-present) was accepted in the MBA program at Indiana Wesleyan University. Congratulations, Sandra!

Justin Sheehan (UNITY Contractor, 2014-present) and his wife, Alethea, welcomed their first child, baby boy, Remington on February 15, 2019. 

Cydney Bridges (UNITY Student, 2014-present) handed over her USA National Miss Teen Indiana crown on Feburary 18 and signed up for another year as USA National Miss Teen Hoosier. 

Fatima Washington (UNITY Alumnus, 2000-2001) is performing at the Embassy Theatre for Down the Line 13, presented by Chuck & Lisa Surack of Sweetwater Sound.

Melanie Hollingsworth (UNITY Student, 2015-present) is in the play, Newsies, at Concordia Lutheran High School.

It’s time to carry the banner with Disney’s Newsies! Set in turn-of-the century New York City, Newsies is the rousing tale of Jack Kelly, a charismatic newsboy and leader of a band of teenaged “newsies.” When titans of publishing raise distribution prices at the newsboys’ expense, Jack rallies newsies from across the city to strike against the unfair conditions and fight for what’s right! Ticket prices are $7 for adults and $5 for students in high school or younger. They may be purchased at the door.

Isabel Alfaro (UNITY Student, 2016-present) earned a Certificate of Excellence for outstanding performance in MASC Agency, Science, Math, Language Arts, Social Studies, Advanced Spanish, and Business Education at Towles New Tech Middle School. Isabel’s speech was also chosen as one of the top 10 in her school to represent her school at the FWCS Speech Contest in May!

Kelvin Byers (UNITY Alumnus, 2002-2007) is featured in the TV Show, Droppin’ Cash Los Angeles (Season 1 Episode 12: Justine Skye & Creek Boyz). You can find this show on Netflix!

Aryanna Swopshire (UNITY Student, 2012-present) performed a vocal solo and earned a gold medal and perfect score at the ISSMA Finals in Indianapolis!

Jordan Bridges (UNITY Alumnus, 2008-2017) sang the National Anthem at the women’s Purdue basketball game vs Northwestern. He also sang a duet at the men’s game against Nebraska.

Deven Bridges (UNITY Alumnus, 2009) was featured in SoundDigest’s article “Get to Know Emerging Hip-Hop Artist Mickey Young.

Windy Cobb Johnson (UNITY Staff Member, 2007-present) made the President’s List at Crossroads Bible College for the Fall 2018 semester.

Hannah Mossburg (UNITY Member, 2018-present) created a piece of art displaying one of Mr. White’s quotes that is displayed at the UNITY Program and Training Center. Hannah is in 8th grade and enjoys acting, drawing, leading, speaking, and writing.

Nia Weary (UNITY Member, 2016-present) is competing in the National American Miss Pageant Junior Teen Division (ages 13-15) on August 30 – September 1 in Indianapolis, IN. She will be in the formal wear, casual wear, interview, personal introduction, community service, and photogenic portions of the pageant. Nia is in 8th grade and likes to spend time reading, drawing, singing, cheerleading, sleeping, and hanging out with friends.

Faith Logan (UNITY Member, 2016-present) was in the band concert at her school. She plays the clarinet and has been playing for 2 years at St. Paul’s Lutheran School. Faith is in 5th grade and is a part of the Kids Pointe Crew at her church, The Pointe.  She helps run the computer for children’s worship, demonstrates the Bible memory verse of the month, leads the motions for a worship song, and partners with the younger kids to help them learn dance motions. This position helps kids develop leadership skills by giving them special responsibilities.

UNITY was gifted 20 tickets from the Fort Wayne Philharmonic to “An Evening with Leslie Odom, Jr., Hamiliton Star” on Saturday, March 2nd at the Embassy Theatre. These tickets were awarded to perfect attendance students, youth council members, volunteers, and top Praise Celebration ticket sellers. Thank you, Fort Wayne Philharmonic, for your generous donation!

Marshall White was nominated for the Greater Fort Wayne Champion of Change Awards. The awards, which will be distributed at a luncheon on April 24, aim to celebrate those who mentor and empower women in Allen County.

Cydney Bridges (UNITY Member, 2008-present) was selected to model for Louie’s Tux shop advertisements. They had a photoshoot day in South Bend, Indiana and her photos are now featured on Louie’s Tux shop website! Check out the video below from their photoshoot.

Naomi Young (UNITY Member, 2011-2017) was the first young woman to receive the “Outstanding Leader of Tomorrow” award through the Commission on the Status of Black Males in Bloomington, IN. She was also chosen to receive the Finer Womanhood Tea award presented by the ladies of the Zeti Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. Upsilon Kappa Zeta Chapter.

Jonathan McCullough (UNITY Member, 2018-2019) competed in the Snider Percussion ensemble on February 23nd and took home gold at the State ISSMA in Indy.

Nicole King (UNITY Contractor, 2017-present) was featured in a Journal Gazette Article, ‘Women Never to be Forgotten’ with her work on the Fort Wayne Human Library.

Ellen Sauer and Nicole King brought the Human Library to Fort Wayne in 2018. Founded on a belief that prejudices and stereotypes can be interrupted and dismantled by creating a positive environment for conversation, the Human Library is an environment where real people are “on loan” to readers and where difficult questions are expected, appreciated and answered.

Gregory Perry (UNITY Member, 2013-present) was part of the Blackhawk Middle School Orchestra & Play production last weekend.

Fatima Washington (UNITY Alumna, 2000-2001) was featured in the Fort Wayne Ink Spot Article “More Than a Cover, Considerably More: Singer Fatima Washington’s Tribute to Dear Whitney”.

Jaya Swopshire (UNITY Member, 2016-present) played the the role of Elle Woods in Legally Blonde the Musical at Jefferson Middle School. She also made the Northrop High School cheerleading team!

Evan White (UNITY Alumnus, 2000-2008) received his first review on his 1st production project “Basement” with King Combs.

Stephanie Woodson (UNITY Alumna, 2000-2006) became engaged to Bobby Burton (UNITY Alumnus, 2005-2006)! Congratulations!

Jocelyn Redmond (UNITY Alumna, 2008-2017) sang with members of the band, Casual Friday, Jordan Applegate (UNITY Alumnus, 2002-2005), Stefan Phillips, and Krystle Quinones. They sang at The Clyde in Fort Wayne for their Mega 80’s vs 90’s Prom event.

Lauryn Jones (UNITY Alumna, 2008-2017) was accepted into an internship this summer in Louisville, Kentucky to participate in a medical internship program for 6 weeks. She is also traveling to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil to study abroad before her internship.

Lauryn is a student at Indiana University studying to become an Epidemiologist.

Cydney Bridges (UNITY Member, 2008-present) received the “Horizon Scholarship Award” to Huntington University in recognition of her demonstrated leadership ability. Cydney is a senior at Carroll High School and plans to attend Huntington University in the fall. She is planning to major in nursing with a minor in worship arts.

Mr. Marshall White is speaking at BenCon 2019 on April 18th at the Ramada Plaza sponsored by Northeast Indiana Association of Health Underwriters (NEIAHU). 

Briana Alvarez (UNITY Alumna, 2006-2014) is hosting the 4th Comfort Zone Art Show on May 18 from 6:00-10:00 PM at the Concept.Seven Art Lounge. UNITY students and alumni will be participating in this event – Deven Bridges (UNITY Alumnus, 2009), Jordan Bridges (UNITY Alumnus, 2008-2017), Hannah Mossburg (UNITY Member, 2018-present),  DJ Grey (UNITY Alumna, 2016-2018), and Dalyn Johnson (UNITY Alumnus, 2005-2015).

The Comfort Zone is hosting yet another art show with some amazing new artists! There will be performances throughout the night and artwork created just for the show! There will be drinks for purchase with a drink ticket and FREE FOOD! Cover charge is $5 at the door. Raffled off artwork will be given away for just $1. Come out and meet your local and talented artists on May 18th!!!

Aaryn Eady (UNITY Alumna, 2005-2011) started a new job as Project Coordinator at Greater Fort Wayne Inc. Her position includes providing support to programs and events developed by the organization’s Corporate and Community Impact Team.


Aaryn attended Indiana University Bloomington, where she served as the Student Director for a volunteer youth literacy program at Boys & Girls Clubs of Bloomington. In 2016, Aaryn graduated from IU and became the Program Director for Boys & Girls Club and managed the organization’s youth and community programs, projects, and events. In 2018, Aaryn began work as a contract Program Coordinator for Unity Performing Arts Foundation and implemented two new artistic development programs designed to engage local youth and families in various performing arts programs and activities. We are so proud of all of Aaryn’s accomplishments and wish her success in her new position!

Our annual Empowerment Camp at Camp Lutherhaven took place last weekend (April 12-14, 2019). This was our 20th Empowerment Camp since our first camp took place in October 2001. Our students attended sessions including topics covering self-image, self-defense, self-confidence, self-love, suicide prevention, and self-control. We also had a talent show and fun in the outdoors! Thank you to all of our staff, speakers, alumni, parents, and volunteers for making this year’s camp a success!

Johelga Portela (UNITY Member, 2017-present) was awarded the Dance Choreography certificate through the National PTA Reflections Program at her school. She earned 2nd place for her Dance Choreography project and a bronze medal for the state competition.

Elliana Brower (UNITY Member, 2019-present) was chosen as a National Finalist for a song she wrote and sang for the Indiana PTA Reflections. The winner will be chosen in May. Congratulations, Elliana!

Angela Davis (American communist, political activist, academic, and author) spoke at Earlham College about gender violence and the prison system on April 3 and the King Family attended this event. Camille King (UNITY Alumna, 2011-2018) is studying at Earlham College majoring in Neuroscience and French. Camille says, “What struck me about her is her humility. She obviously exudes confidence and she embraces how powerful she is but she doesn’t wield those things over anyone. In the most respectful way, she had sort of a comforting grandmother sort of aura. She is also very funny”.

Kedrah Niyoki Chapman (UNITY Staff Member, 2016-present) and Prophet Cedric Lee Walker will be special guests performing at Darius Darling’s concert at New Zion Tabernacle Church on May 18 at 5:00 PM.

Bryson Sharp (UNITY Alumnus, 2000-2006) was awarded the NIA Purpose Award for outstanding career achievement, servant leadership, and dedicated community service. Congratulations, Bryson!

 

Nia Weary (2016-present) is competing in the Jr. Teen Queen Pageant representing Fort Wayne. To raise funds, the Fort Wayne Comedy Club will be donating a portion of ticket sales from “Dobie Maxwell with Mary Santora” on May 4 and June 1. Tickets must be purchased online with the code “NIA”. This event is for ages 21+ only. 

Ani King (2011-present) received the Delta Sorority Scholarship from the Fort Wayne Alumnae Chapter. Lebo Malatse and David Alvarez both wrote letters of recommendation for her. Ani is a senior at Bishop Luers High School and plans to attend Manchester University in the fall. Congratulations, Ani!

Last week, UNITY’s Oratory Preparatory Course was visited by Miss Lydia Tremaine. She spoke to the students about pageant competitions, being focused and determined to achieve your goals, changing the culture of how people view themselves, and the importance of believing in oneself regardless of the lenses you are being viewed through. Cydney Bridges (UNITY Member, 2008-present) has an internship at Ortho ONE.

“I shadow a CRNA (Certified Nurse Anesthetist) and learn while watching surgeries in the OR. I also assist my CRNA in any duties she needs help with. So far I have watched a total knee replacement, spinal fusion, hip scope and a thumb surgery. I really enjoy it there and the employees are super nice and inviting. I intern under Gisella Puga, CRNA.” -Cydney

Jordan Bridges (UNITY Alumnus, 2008-2017) released a new song on Apple Music, Spotify, and YouTube. “Often times our success and triumphs come with an unhealthy side effect of pressure from our peers to be perfect. It is very easy to see someone shinning and associate that with their beauty. We fail to recognize that true beauty comes from chaos much of the time! This song was written to inspire all of us (including myself) to embrace our imperfections and be happy with the beautiful chaos we truly are.” – Jordan

Cydney Bridges (UNITY Member, 2008-present) received a $500 scholarship from the Jennings Center.

Her mother Paula says, “Cyd has been so very blessed. The Jennings Center has blessed my family for 3 generations! I am so proud to have my mother witness Cydney receive the same scholarship she received as a senior in high school, that I received as a senior in high school, and her brother Jordan Bridges received during his senior year of high school”. Congratulations, Cydney!

Kierra Pinkston (UNITY Member, 2016-present) and Ani King (UNITY Student, 2011-present) were selected as finalists to win a $1,000 scholarship (courtesy of Parkview Health) for the Respect Team’s 360 Awards! The 360AWARDS is an opportunity for high school students in Allen, Whitley, Noble, and Dekalb county public, private, parochial, and homeschools to be honored for making a positive difference in their home, their school, and their community. The Awards will be held on September 15th at 5:00pm at the Parkview Mirror Center. 

 

Our Class of 2019 high school and college graduates took part in morning sessions last weekend at Purdue University Fort Wayne on topics covering financial literacy, building relationships, scholarships. We were visited by guests, James Cashman and Amy Leedy from Three Rivers Credit Union, to talk about Financial Literacy with our graduates. Camille King, David Alvarez, and Alex Eady were our Alumni speakers. All of our graduates were treated to a limo ride for a delicious dinner at Joseph Dequis in Roanoke, IN. Thank you to all of our speakers, Club Car Limousine & Trolley, and Joseph Decuis for making our Senior Day a day to remember for our graduates!

Your contribution has life-changing impact, and we are so grateful!

Cydney Bridges (UNITY Member, 2008-present) and Kayla Davis (2013-present) completed their CNA (certified nursing assistant’s) Class from Ivy Tech. Both girls were awarded scholarships to take the class which was 3-5 college credits. Cydney and Kayla completed the class with a score in the 90s. They took their CNA license test on Friday, July 5th and both passed! Congratulations, ladies!

Andrew Woodson, former UNITY Staff Member and Singing Mentor, became engaged to ShaVaughn McAfee. Congratulations, Andrew and ShaVaughn!

Lance Tolbert, Guest Band Director for many of our VOU Concerts, became engaged to Monet Bagneris. Congratulations, Lance and Monet!

Nia Weary (UNITY Member 2016-present) is competing in the Illinois Indiana National American Miss Pageant in Indy on Saturday & Sunday, September 1-2. Tickets are $25 for Sunday (tickets are not needed on Saturday). Please contact Valerie Weary if you are interested in attending. Lewis Miller (UNITY Member 2018-present) will be escorting Nia on stage on Saturday.

Caeson King (UNITY Member, 2018-present) received an Academic Encouragement award by Wayne Township. Great job, Caeson! Keep striving for “Excellence and Nothing Less”. 

Niyoki Chapman (UNITY Staff Member & Parent, 2016-present) was featured in a music video with Addison Agen for Fort Wayne’s NBC: Focused on the Fort Music Video.

Elizabeth Coats (UNITY Alumna, 2009-2010) just got engaged! She is a senior at Purdue University and is studying business. She is planning to continue her education and go to dental school to become a dentist.

Kierra Pinkston (UNITY Member, 2016-present) and Ani King (UNITY Student, 2011-present) were recognized at the Respect Team’s 360 Awards on Sunday, September 15, for being outstanding leaders and servers in the community. 

Caeson King (UNITY Member, 2018-present) is 7 years old and is in 2nd grade. He is on the cross country team this season at his school and finished in the top 60 this past Monday. Caeson wants to be a Computer Technician when he grows up.

Jordan Bridges (UNITY Alumnus, 2008-2017) is a Junior at Purdue University studying Human Resource Management. He is on the worship team at Pathway Community Church. He records all of his songs in his own studio.

Our UNITY Founder, Marshall White, was presented an award from the Greater Fort Wayne Hispanic Chamber of Commerce on September 26. David Alvarez, UNITY Staff Member and Alumnus, and Mr. White spoke about UNITY at the event.

Brooke Person (UNITY Alumna, 2008-2016) graduated from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York on September 28. This was an accelerated Musical Theater Conservatory Program. She graduated from Chicago High School for the Arts and Akron School for the Arts. She is living in Brooklyn, NY and working part time in Times Square while continuing to audition. Send Brooke your well wishes! We are so proud of you, Brooke. We can’t wait to see all the amazing things you will do!

Cydney Bridges (UNITY Alumna, 2008-2019) and Aryanna Swopshire (UNITY Member, 2012-present)competed in the 3Rivers Pageant. Aryanna was the first runner up in the Teen Division and Cydney was 2nd runner up in the Miss Division. Aryanna is a Junior at Snider High School and Cydney is a freshman at Huntington University studying Nursing.

Venessa Fullerton (2016-present) was in the musical, Aladdin, at Southside High School on October 9th. She played a jewelry shop owner and had solo part in one of the songs. Vanessa is 10 years old and attends Weisser Park Elementary School. She enjoys acting, drawing, making crafts, and singing.

“Comfort Zone” was created by Briana Alvarez (UNITY Alumna, 2006-2014) and Cheyenne Carroll. They both graduated with art degrees and understand what it is like to love all art. Maria and Cheyenne created “Comfort Zone” to give an opportunity for performing and visual artists to show their work, network, and just enjoy being surrounded by art! 

Comfort Zone Art Show is coming up on Saturday, November 2 from 6:00-10:00 PM at Concept Seven Art Lounge – featuring visual art, music performers, spoken word, bar, food, and raffles. Admission is $5.

Aryanna Swopshire (UNITY Member, 2012-present) is going to be playing one of the cheerleaders at Snider High School’s musical called “The Awesome 80’s Prom” on October 24 & 25th at 7:00 PM. Tickets are $5. Costumes are encouraged and prizes will be given for the best costume at each performance.

Mickey Young (Deven Bridges – UNITY Alumnus, 2009) was featured in a podcast “The Scene” from Indiana Public Radio. Mickey Young, is a hip hop artist. This podcast featured artists from an Indianapolis hip hop festival, CHREECE. Mickey and his wife, Ashley (backup singer) were selected from a list of many artists to be featured. Cydney Bridges (UNITY Alumna, 2008-2019) will compete in the Miss Fort Wayne Pageant on Saturday, October 26 at 6:00 PM at Summit Middle School. Tickets are $15 for adults, $5 for children ages 5-12. Children 5 and under are free. Cydney is a freshman at Huntington University studying Nursing.

Cydney Bridges (UNITY Alumna, 2008-2019) is the new Miss Fort Wayne! She will be competiting in the Miss Indiana pageant neaxt June. Congratulations, Cydney!

Daven Johnson (UNITY Alumnus, 2006-2013) and Mikayla Hughes welcomed a new baby girl . Octavia Elizabeth Johnson on October 12. 6.6 ounces and 18.5 inches long. Daven works at FXI in Fort Wayne.

Hannah Mossburg (UNITY Member, 2018-present) sang in the choir for Blackhawk’s fall program on October 11. Hannah is in choir, theatre arts, and is planning to play tennis in the spring.

Windy Cobb Johnson (UNITY Staff Member, 2007 – present) was on the President’s List for the Spring 2019 Term at Crossroads Bible College. She is studying Organizational Leadership and will finish classes December 2020. Her nonprofit, The Journey, is having a Christmas Holiday Shopping Extravaganza on Saturday, December 7 from 9:00-3:00 PM at St. John Lutheran Church. Davit Drew and Daniel Stewart will be musicians during the event.

Lance Tolbert – “I got to play upright bass on the New Deluxe Anniversary Edition of Mariah Carey’s legendary Merry Christmas album! It’s such an honor to have the opportunity.” – Lance Tolbert Lance also played all instruments, production, and string arrangement for Asia Monet’s new song “Real Life”. Lance has been a musican/band director for various Voices of Unity Concerts since 2000.

David Alvarez (UNITY Alumnus, 2006-2017), Arriston King (UNITY Alumnus, 2011-2013), Said Monarrez (UNITY Alumnus, 2006-2009), and Mauricio Jacobo started a food providing business called, “Fortified Palate” and will be working concessions at the Journey’s Christmas Holiday Shopping Extravaganza on Saturday, December 7 from 9:00-3:00 PM at St. John Lutheran Church.

Brooke Person (UNITY Alumna, 2008-2016) has been auditioning in and out of state since graduation. She really wanted to land something locally first so her grandparents could see her doing what she loves to do in a professional, lead role. Well, God has granted her the desires of her heart. Amia Terry (UNITY Member, 2019-present) earned high honor roll at Lakeside Middle School for the fall semester. Amia enjoys dancing, drawing, and making crafts. Amia is a member of VOU, Dance, and Oratory.

Johelga Portela (UNITY Member 2017-present) earned honor roll and perfect attendance for the fall semester at Croniger Elementary. Johelga is in gymnastics, UNITY Dance, Miles Club Religious Class and the UNITY Oratory program.

Jon Swain (UNITY Band Member, 2015-2018) and Megan Phillips welcomed their new baby boy, Jasper Cody Swain, on Monday, November 18. 

Lauryn Jones (UNITY Alumna, 2008-2017) pledged into the AKALand sorority at Indiana University Bloomington.

Kendall Isadore (UNITY Alumna, 2003-2011) and the String Queens released a new album on November 26 at Blues Alley in Washington, DC. They were featured in a DCist article this week. 

The String Queens also credit their eclectic tastes to their students. All three members hold day jobs as orchestra directors at various KIPP DC middle schools, which have also been a resourceful avenue for music discovery (especially for Top 40 songs). Students are taught how to play traditional classical music and learn improvisational techniques so they can play their favorite Cardi B or Bruno Mars song on their instruments, if they so choose.”

Briana Alvarez (UNITY Alumna, 2006-2014) accepted a 6 week position as an art instructor for elementary and middle school students in Indianapolis. This will be at an after school program that starts at the end of January. “I have been gaining experience as I work in Kid’s Ministry and as an artist. I am excited to combine the two and explore the teaching world!” 

Jordan Bridges (UNITY Alumnus, 2008-2017) released a new single, American Dream, on Spotify and iTunes. Jordan is a sophomore at Purdue University and is majoring in HR Development and minoring in HR Management. He has been busy with his band “Kinnection” and also sings at church on the worship team. Jordan works two campus jobs. He is a mentor for Purdue’s Diversity & Inclusion Office and is a teaching assistant for a technology glass. Jordan is also the co-chair of Purdue’s Exploratory Studies Ambassadors Program and practices with the men’s practice team for the women’s D1 basketball at Purdue!

Jeremy Jones (UNITY Alumnus, 2000-2004) recently released a new EP ‘Late Bloomer’ which was released in Tokyo, Japan under Astrollage. Also available on CD and vinyl. Jeremy Jones, who plays the viola of various songs such as Childish Gambino, Drake, Thundercat, etc., and is also attracting attention in the videos covered with great singing voices. The popularity of the debut single Runnin ‘″ attracted attention as a vocalist in 2017, and the DIY spirit that is rare in the pop music world was also evaluated. Late Bloomer was the first two years as a solo artist of Jeremy. The best track selected from the album is recorded, and it is a full-length debut with his talent, ambition, and artist’s vision. (DJ Funnel)
